Near the end of 2021 I turned my attention towards those most important to me, my children and grandchildren by way of a series of portraits. With the loss of a loved family member, followed by a close friend, I realized the need to provide those closest with a portrait that I hoped would capture something of their spirit. This was soon followed by request for portraits of much loved family pets.

Most of my work is done by way of a high spec digital drawing board, giving me access to a full range of mediums and canvas's. This also allows me to zoom into the finer details for a high resolution photo-realistic finish, if that if the preferred look.

Composition and lighting play a bit part in achieving a successful piece of work. Digital painting enables me to work remotely from photos of the subject, sending the end result instantly anywhere on planet earth for printing and framing.
