The Starfish Group - Community Creative's
A Starfish community is based on a shared values ideology with knowledge and intelligence distributed through the fluid system. All associates are guardians of the culture and share responsibility for our welfare and growth of the work. We are in the business of community design and development inspired by a sense of Rohe, Tikanga-rua and Kaitiakitanga. For the past 100 years we have seen tremendous change , some good and some at a cost to people, plants and the planet. We are a network of like minded people committed to understanding our collective past and present to create beneficial outcomes in the future through working thoughtfully and ethically with others.
Our focus considers the five key capitals of the Genuine Wealth model for community growth and development.

We have set out to connect people of different backgrounds and skills who together are able to do something exceptional, and beyond each of our wildest dreams. We are committed and driven to create positive disruption within existing structures of organisation and measures of growth in order to re-lay the foundation our communities are built upon. Alternative sustainable community growth based on values and exchange relationships and growth based on community accountability, justice and equity and measured through progress of indicators towards Genuine Wealth is a driving focus for us. We do this because we love our children.
